Materials and tools

What the student works with

  • a coursebook and workbook matched to the level and exam goal
  • access to an online platform with exercises, recordings and audio and video materials
  • authentic Cambridge exam tasks and papers
  • tests, three mock exams and detailed feedback
  • a certificate or diploma of course completion

Students do not only get to know the task types: they regularly practise working under time pressure, analyse their mistakes and learn to plan their exam preparation consciously.

Benefits for the student

What an exam course gives

  • Every part of the exam

We develop the competences the exam tests, not only those easiest to practise.

  • Exam strategies

The student learns and applies ways of working with specific task types.

  • Authentic materials

Work on real papers rather than on exercises about them.

  • Mock exams

Three attempts during the year show progress and what still needs work.

  • Calm on exam day

Confidence and time management are practised just as much as the language.

Questions about Exam Master

What students and parents ask

  • Who is Exam Master designed for?

It is for students who have already reached the appropriate language level and want to prepare for a specific Cambridge English exam, such as B2 First or C1 Advanced.

  • Does Exam Master teach English or only exam techniques?

Both. Students continue to develop their English while becoming thoroughly familiar with the exam structure, task types, assessment criteria and strategies that help them use their skills effectively under exam conditions.

  • How do you know when a student is ready to take the exam?

We analyse the student's language level and performance on exam-style tasks, and we also use mock tests during the preparation process. This means the decision to sit the exam is based on evidence rather than guesswork.

  • Do you practise all parts of the exam?

Yes. The course covers Reading and Use of English, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Students also learn time- management techniques and strategies for the different task types.

  • Do you help students register for the Cambridge exam?

Yes. We inform students and parents about available exam sessions and provide organisational support in choosing the most suitable date.
