Terms and conditions
2026/2027 school year, effective from 1 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for the provision of educational services by Masters&More, the rights and obligations of Participants and their Legal Representatives, as well as the rules governing Courses and additional services.
§1. Definitions
- Organiser – Masters&More Elżbieta Jaroszewicz, ul. Hlonda 10C/U5, 02-972 Warsaw, Tax Identification Number (NIP) 6511587400, REGON 145755387, hereinafter also referred to as “Masters&More” or the “School”.
- Participant – a person using the Educational Services provided by the Organiser.
- Legal Representative – a parent or legal guardian of a minor Participant who concludes the Agreement with the Organiser.
- Course – a cycle of group or individual classes delivered in accordance with the Organiser’s offer, schedule and Agreement.
- Group Classes – classes conducted in groups generally consisting of 5 to 9 Participants. In justified cases, the group size may temporarily differ from this range.
- Individual Classes – classes conducted for one Participant on terms and according to a schedule agreed individually.
- Educational Services – paid foreign-language teaching services provided by the Organiser as part of Courses.
- Agreement – an agreement for the provision of Educational Services concluded between the Organiser and the Participant or the Participant’s Legal Representative.
- E-register – the LangLion electronic system used by the Organiser, among other things, for communication and for providing information concerning classes, payments and the Participant’s progress.
- Terms and Conditions – these Masters&More Terms and Conditions.
§2. Enrolment and conclusion of the Agreement
- A Participant may enrol in a Course using the registration form, the LangLion E-register, email, telephone or another method accepted by the Organiser.
- Where the Agreement is concluded at a distance through the LangLion system, the Agreement is concluded after the Participant or the Participant’s Legal Representative has made the required declarations and accepted or signed the Agreement in accordance with the procedure made available in the system.
- The Organiser may request data necessary to carry out the enrolment process, place the Participant in an appropriate group, and conclude and perform the Agreement.
- The Organiser may offer the Participant a free placement test, a meeting with a methodologist, a consultation or a trial lesson in order to select an appropriate Course or group.
- The Organiser may refuse an application, in particular where there are no places available in an appropriate group or where organisational or staffing capacity is insufficient.
- Commencement of the Course is conditional upon conclusion of the Agreement, acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and payment of the amount required under the Agreement.
- These Terms and Conditions are made available to the Legal Representative or adult Participant before the Agreement is concluded.
§3. Organisation of Courses
- Courses are conducted in accordance with the Masters&More offer, the schedule and the terms set out in the Agreement.
- Classes may be held: a) at Masters&More premises; b) in rooms or facilities rented by the Organiser; c) on the premises of schools or other educational institutions; d) online, where this is provided for in the relevant Course offer.
- The specific venue and Course schedule are specified in the Agreement, the offer or information provided to the Participant by the Organiser.
- The Organiser may change the classroom, teacher or other organisational elements of the Course provided that this does not result in a material change to the scope of the service.
- Courses are taught by teachers whose qualifications and preparation are appropriate for the type of classes they conduct.
- The duration, frequency and number of classes result from the selected programme, offer and Agreement.
- Group Courses are generally conducted in groups of 5 to 9 Participants.
- If the number of Participants in a group decreases, the Organiser may propose: a) combining groups; b) transferring the Participant to another appropriate group; c) changing the duration or frequency of classes; d) continuing the Course on different terms.
- Any change resulting in a change to the Course price requires the consent of the Participant or Legal Representative. If materially changed terms are not accepted, the Participant may terminate the Agreement without being required to pay for Educational Services falling due after termination.
- The Organiser may change the teacher conducting the classes in justified circumstances.
- If classes must be cancelled for reasons attributable to the Organiser, they will be held on another date or settled in another manner agreed with the Participant.
- Classes are not held on the dates specified in the Masters&More school-year schedule.
- Participants may attend classes only where their state of health allows them to participate safely and where they do not display symptoms of an infectious illness that may pose a risk to other Participants or persons conducting the classes. The Organiser may refuse a person showing clear symptoms of illness permission to attend a particular class where this is justified by the need to protect the safety of other Participants.
- A Participant’s absence from Group Classes does not reduce the Course price and does not require the Organiser to provide an individual make-up class.
- Monthly payments are instalments of the total Course price and do not correspond to the number of classes held in a particular month.
§4. Supervision of minor Participants
- The Organiser supervises a minor Participant during the class, i.e. from the scheduled start of the class until its scheduled end.
- Unless the Participant uses the accompanying service described in §5, the Organiser does not assume supervision of the Participant before the class starts or after it ends.
- A Participant’s earlier arrival at the building, waiting area, corridor, cloakroom or other space in which classes take place does not in itself mean that the Organiser has assumed supervision of the Participant before the scheduled start of the class.
- After a class ends, responsibility for collecting a minor Participant rests with the Legal Representative or a person authorised by them, unless: a) the Legal Representative has provided written permission for the Participant to leave independently; or b) the Participant uses the accompanying service under §5.
- If classes take place on the premises of a public school or another institution where the Participant remains under that institution’s supervision before or after Masters&More classes, the scope of that institution’s responsibility is governed by its applicable rules.
- If a child who is required to be collected is not collected after class, the Organiser will attempt to contact the Legal Representative or authorised persons. Until the child is collected, the Organiser will provide the necessary temporary supervision.
- Temporary supervision referred to in paragraph 6 does not change the rule that the Legal Representative is responsible for collecting the Participant on time after the class.
- The Legal Representative may provide written permission for the Participant to come to classes independently or to leave independently after classes. Once the Participant leaves the place where classes are conducted under such permission, the Organiser no longer supervises the Participant.
- The Organiser applies the Masters&More Standards for the Protection of Minors, which set out, in particular, rules for safe relationships with minors and procedures for responding to suspected harm to a child. The Standards are made available at the Organiser’s premises and on the Masters&More website in a full version and in an abridged version intended for minors.
- A Participant is required to comply with the rules for safe relationships set out in the Masters&More Standards for the Protection of Minors and to refrain from behaviour that threatens the safety, dignity or rights of other Participants or persons conducting classes.
- Where a Participant repeatedly or seriously breaches safety rules, the Standards for the Protection of Minors or the rules for safe relationships within the group, the Organiser takes action appropriate to the Participant’s age, the nature of the incident and the level of risk. Such action may include a conversation with the Participant, informing the Legal Representative, agreeing further steps and documenting the incident. Measures taken must not be humiliating or discriminatory or infringe the Participant’s dignity and should take into account the Participant’s age, development and particular needs.
- Where a Participant’s behaviour poses an immediate threat to their own health or safety, or to the health or safety of other Participants or personnel, the Organiser may refuse the Participant permission to attend a particular class or discontinue their participation in that class to the extent necessary to ensure safety, promptly informing the Legal Representative.
§5. Accompanying Participants to and from classes
- Masters&More may organise a paid accompanying service for Participants attending grades 1–2 of primary school.
- At locations where classes are held on the premises of the Participant's school or kindergarten, collection from the after-school room (świetlica) for classes is free of charge and takes place in accordance with the rules of the relevant institution.
- The service consists of collecting the Participant from an agreed location at the school or school day-care facility and accompanying the Participant on foot to Masters&More classes and, where provided for in the organisation of a particular group, accompanying the Participant after class back to an agreed location.
- The service is voluntary and is provided only after prior registration of the child by the Legal Representative.
- A condition for the service to begin is the submission of the required written authorisations: a) to the Organiser, authorising designated persons acting on behalf of Masters&More to collect and accompany the Participant; and b) to the school or school day-care facility, in accordance with the rules applicable at that institution.
- The service may be organised in Wilanów and Ursynów.
- The service may be launched and continued provided that: a) at least 5 Participants are included in a given accompanying arrangement; and b) the Organiser has sufficient staffing and organisational capacity.
- The fee for the service is PLN 30 per month and is added to the monthly Course fee.
- A Participant using the service is required to: a) wait for the collecting person at the agreed place and time; b) not leave the waiting place independently; c) follow safety instructions given by the supervising person; d) remain calm and exercise due care while moving between locations; e) not use a bicycle, scooter, roller skates or similar means of transport while being accompanied.
- Participants are accompanied on foot along a route determined by the Organiser with due regard to the safety of the children.
- The Legal Representative is required to familiarise the Participant with the rules of safe behaviour while being accompanied.
- If the Participant repeatedly breaches safety rules or behaves in a manner that creates a risk to themselves, other Participants or the supervising person, the Organiser may, after informing the Legal Representative, refuse to continue providing the service.
- The service is not provided on days when there are no school classes, during examinations, or on other days when the school’s organisation prevents the normal collection of Participants.
- The specific collection point and time are determined for each group and communicated to the Legal Representative.
- The Organiser may decide not to launch the service or may discontinue it if the minimum number of Participants is not met or if staffing or organisational capacity is insufficient.
- No fee is charged for a period during which the service is suspended or not provided for reasons attributable to the Organiser.
§6. Educational materials, the E-register and services provided by electronic means
- For Group Courses, the Course Price includes educational materials provided to the Participant in connection with the Course. The value of the educational materials is PLN 250 and forms part of the Course Price; it is not an additional fee.
- For Individual Classes, the cost of textbooks and additional materials may be charged separately in accordance with the offer.
- The Organiser provides the Legal Representative or adult Participant with access to the LangLion E-register to the extent applicable to the relevant Course.
- The E-register may be used, in particular, to provide information on class schedules, attendance, the Participant’s progress, educational materials and payments.
- The Organiser may provide by electronic means services connected with the enrolment process, conclusion and performance of the Agreement, use of the LangLion E-register, and the provision of information and documents connected with the Educational Services.
- In order to use services provided by electronic means, the user must have a device with Internet access, an up-to-date web browser and an active email address. When using the E-register, the technical requirements specified by the provider of the LangLion system may also apply.
- A user of services provided by electronic means is required to use them in accordance with applicable law, these Terms and Conditions and security rules, and must not provide or transmit unlawful content.
- An Agreement concluded through the LangLion system is concluded in accordance with the procedure made available in that system. Before conclusion of the Agreement, the Participant or the Participant’s Legal Representative is given the opportunity to review the Agreement, these Terms and Conditions and the information required by applicable law.
- Complaints concerning Educational Services or services provided by electronic means by the Organiser may be submitted in accordance with §15 of these Terms and Conditions. The technical rules for using the LangLion platform may additionally be governed by the terms and conditions of the system provider presented to the user for acceptance.
§7. Fees
- The Course price is specified in the Agreement and is consistent with the offer or price list applicable on the date on which the Agreement is concluded.
- The Course price may be paid in full or in equal instalments in accordance with the payment schedule specified in the Agreement.
- For monthly payments, each instalment is due by the 15th day of the relevant month, unless the Agreement expressly provides otherwise.
- Monthly instalments do not correspond to the number of classes held in a particular month. They constitute equal portions of the total Course price.
- Payment is deemed made on the date on which the Organiser’s bank account is credited.
- Information concerning payments and arrears may be communicated via the LangLion E-register, email, SMS or telephone.
- The Organiser will not change the Course price during the term of the Agreement without the consent of the Participant or Legal Representative, except where such a change results directly from mandatory law.
§8. Late payments
- If a payment is not made on time, the Organiser may send information or a reminder concerning the arrears, in particular via LangLion.
- If the arrears cover two due instalments, the Organiser may additionally contact the Legal Representative by telephone, SMS or email.
- If the arrears cover at least two due instalments, the Organiser may, after first issuing a demand for payment and setting an additional deadline for payment, temporarily suspend the Participant’s right to attend classes until the debt is paid or an individual repayment arrangement is agreed with the Organiser.
- Suspension from classes does not automatically terminate the Agreement.
- The Organiser may pursue due amounts in accordance with applicable law, including statutory interest for late payment.
- An individual repayment arrangement may be agreed at any stage.
§9. Change of group
- The Participant or Legal Representative may ask the Organiser to transfer the Participant to another group.
- A change of group may be possible in particular where: a) the language level is not appropriately matched; b) it is recommended by a methodologist or teacher; c) a place is available in an appropriate group; d) there are other justified organisational or educational reasons.
- If the change of group entails a change to the Course price, it requires the consent of the Participant or Legal Representative.
§10. Withdrawal from a Course and termination of the Agreement
- Either party may terminate the Agreement in accordance with the terms and notice period specified in the Agreement.
- Notice of termination may be sent to the Organiser by email at biuro@mastersandmore.pl unless the Agreement provides for another form.
- If the Agreement is terminated before the end of the Course, the Participant is required to pay all amounts due for Educational Services up to the end of the notice period. If the Participant has received educational materials: a) for a Group Course, the value of the materials in the amount of PLN 250, which forms part of the Course Price, is not subject to proportional settlement or refund; b) for Individual Classes, the fee for materials ordered for or provided to the Participant is not refundable, in accordance with the Agreement or the offer applicable to the relevant Course. The relevant amounts are included in the final settlement of the Agreement.
- The Organiser does not charge fees for the part of the Course falling after the effective termination of the Agreement, subject to amounts due for the notice period.
- Where a Participant repeatedly and seriously breaches safety rules, the Standards for the Protection of Minors or the rules for safe relationships within the group, in particular by behaviour that poses a risk to other Participants or personnel, the Organiser may, after first informing the Legal Representative and taking appropriate steps aimed at resolving the situation, terminate the Agreement subject to the notice period specified in the Agreement.
§11. Statutory withdrawal from a distance or off-premises Agreement
- A consumer who concludes the Agreement at a distance or off premises has the right to withdraw from the Agreement in accordance with applicable law.
- As a general rule, the withdrawal period is 14 days from the date on which the Agreement is concluded.
- Detailed information on the right of withdrawal and a model withdrawal form are provided to the Consumer in connection with conclusion of the Agreement.
- If the Consumer requests that Educational Services begin before the withdrawal period expires, the services provided are settled in accordance with applicable law.
§12. Image, photographs and recordings
- Conclusion of the Agreement and participation in a Course do not constitute consent to the use of the Participant’s image for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Publication of photographs, videos or other materials that enable a Participant to be identified for marketing or promotional purposes requires separate consent from the person authorised to give such consent.
- Consent to the use of a Participant’s image is voluntary, and refusal to give consent does not affect the Participant’s ability to take part in a Course.
- Consent may be withdrawn in accordance with the terms stated in the consent and the Privacy Policy.
- If classes are recorded or photographed for purposes other than promotion, in particular for methodological, training or teacher-quality purposes, Participants or their Legal Representatives are appropriately informed and the materials are processed in accordance with applicable law and the Organiser’s Privacy Policy.
- Participants may not, without the Organiser’s consent, record or disseminate classes, educational materials, the images of teachers or other Participants in a manner that infringes their rights or applicable law.
§13. Intellectual property
- Educational materials, programmes, content and other works made available to the Participant in connection with a Course may be protected by copyright.
- The materials are intended for the Participant’s personal use in connection with learning.
- Without the consent of the entitled party, the materials may not be disseminated, made publicly available, copied for commercial purposes or transferred to third parties beyond the scope permitted by law.
§14. Personal data
- Personal data of Participants and their Legal Representatives are processed in accordance with applicable personal-data protection laws.
- Detailed information concerning the data controller, legal bases and purposes of processing, retention periods, recipients of data and the rights of data subjects is set out in the current Masters&More Privacy Policy.
- The Privacy Policy is made available on the Masters&More website and in a manner enabling it to be reviewed before personal data are provided.
- Optional consents, in particular marketing consents and consents concerning the use of a Participant’s image, are collected separately and are not a condition for using Educational Services unless a particular processing activity is necessary for the provision of a specific service.
§15. Complaints
- Complaints concerning the provision of Educational Services may be submitted: a) by email to biuro@mastersandmore.pl; or b) in writing to the Organiser’s address.
- A complaint should contain information enabling the Participant to be identified and a description of the circumstances on which the complaint is based.
- The Organiser will consider a complaint without undue delay and no later than within 14 days of receipt, unless applicable law provides for a different period.
- A consumer may use out-of-court complaint handling and redress procedures, including assistance from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman and other competent entities authorised to conduct out-of-court consumer dispute resolution.
§16. Final provisions
- These Terms and Conditions form part of the terms governing the provision of Educational Services by Masters&More and are made available before the Agreement is concluded.
- Matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable provisions of generally binding law.
- Any disputes will be resolved by the court having jurisdiction under applicable law.
- The Organiser may amend these Terms and Conditions only for important reasons, in particular: a) a change in applicable law affecting the content of these Terms and Conditions or the manner in which Educational Services are provided; b) a decision, judgment, recommendation or guideline issued by a competent authority, court or public body affecting the Organiser’s obligations; c) a change in the manner of providing Educational Services resulting from justified technological or organisational changes, provided that such change does not prejudice the Participant’s acquired rights; d) the need to remove ambiguities or errors or to bring the Terms and Conditions into conformity with mandatory law.
- An amendment affecting an ongoing Agreement will be communicated to the Participant or Legal Representative in a manner enabling them to review it before it enters into force. An amendment may not deprive a Consumer of rights arising under mandatory law.
